By starting my mastery journey, I intend on becoming the best me I can be. I intend to not only learn and grow academically, but also learn how to better operate and grow my small business, and find some introspective points to highlight about myself.
My ultimate academic goal is to get my phd. I’m not sure what specific field of study I want to get my doctorate’s degree in, but it is a goal of mine. Taking these courses to get my master’s degree is the first step in that journey and it will teach me a lot of thing that I need to know moving into my doctorate’s. Things like time management, and writing my master’s thesis will help in my journey to my phd but also the basic course material, the things that I will be learning, are going to help me out tremendously. Even though I haven’t nailed down exactly which doctorate’s program I want take, it will most likely have something to do with business. The courses that I will take such as business law, business finance, etc. will help prepare me for that.
As a small business owner, I am excited to put what I learned whilst getting my bachelor’s degree to work and also expand on that with my courses with this program. I look forward to not just learning these concepts but being able to immediately put them to use in a real world setting. I am excited to grow my business while in school and to be able to have have the opportunity to learn how to grow my business.
Overall, I am just grateful to have the opportunity to pursue this dream of mine. I’m ready to continue on with my academic journey and to see where it takes me. I am eager to have a working knowledge of business concepts as I will be able to use them in my small business as I learn them. I intend on becoming the best me I can be.
